Pacific Healthcare adds two more specialist clinics

PACIFIC Healthcare has added two new specialist clinics within its multi-disciplinary specialist centres at Paragon medical centre in the heart of Orchard Road.

The two new clinics are the group's Women & Fetal Centre and the Pacific Healthcare Eye, Cataract & Retinal Specialist Centre.

Of its revamped specialist centres, CEO of Pacific Healthcare, William Chong said: 'Our successful concept of a one-stop specialist centre where patients can consult with a team of leading specialists in an exclusive environment has enabled us to grow from a single centre to four such centres occupying over 50,000 sq ft within Paragon.'

The Women & Fetal Centre will be headed by prominent obstetrician and gynaecologist, Ann Tan, the former chief of fetal maternal medicine at SGH and a former president of the Association of Women Doctors.

Her academic accolades include the Young Investigator Award by the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and the Young MRCOG Award by the Hong Kong Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.

Cheryl Lee, who has over 10 years of experience in ophthalmology practice in the UK, US and France joins the Pacific Healthcare Eye, Cataract & Retinal Specialist Centre.

Dr Lee is trained in the management of cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and macula degeneration, ocular inflammatory disease, paediatric ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery in addition to being a retinal surgeon.

Her academic distinctions include the Marie Comer Anglian Prize in Ophthalmology, University of Cambridge (2003) and the Gold Medal and Book Prize in Ophthalmology, National University of Singapore.
