Singapore PET and Cardiac Imaging Centre

Dr Gilbert Keng - Consultant Nuclear Physician


Prior to joining Singapore PET and Cardiac Imaging Centre, Dr Keng was the Clinical Director of AsiaMedic PET/CT Centre. He had previously worked as a consultant in the Department of PET and Nuclear Medicine, Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Keng graduated from the medical faculty of National University of Singapore. After his graduation, he underwent training in diagnostic radiology in the National University Hospital. He obtained his fellowship in diagnostic radiology from the Royal College of Radiology in the United Kingdom (FRCR). Upon receiving his FRCR, he underwent further advance specialty training in Nuclear Medicine.

He had completed a fellowship in Oncological PET imaging in the Clinical PET Centre, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. Dr Keng is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS) and is currently serving as a committee member in the Chapter of Nuclear Medicine.

His main interest is in Oncological PET imaging. Dr Keng is well versed in other aspects of radionuclide imaging such as bone scanning, nuclear cardiac imaging, nuclear renal imaging, thyroid imaging etc. He is also familiar with radionuclide therapy for the treatment of benign thyroid diseases, thyroid cancers and liver cancers etc.

At Singapore PET and Cardiac Imaging Centre, he will be happy to offer his help in all aspects of PET and radionuclide imaging.
